I recorded a First to 5 set between iPeru and RZR | Latif at SoCal Regionals 2011.  This was a really close and exciting set between two top USA players.

Just got the patch and look what I found!

I’m running Arthur/Sentinel/Doom.  I really think Arthur will be a poor mans cable.  Cant wait.

So I, along with Hiro, Crizzle, and Chucky headed down to Fresno, CA for Alex Valle’s Central California tournament called “CrossRoads”.  It was a capped tournament at 64 maximum entrants.  I had to play a couple guys from Fresno and then ran into Hiro, arguably the best Blanka in the US.  In a sad display of friendship, I counter picked him with Balrog (Boxer).  I got lucky and barely beat him in the third game.  Everyone gave me shit for it afterwards, but “You play to win the game!”.  I ended up making top 16 but lost to Alex Valle (Ryu) and Tatsu (Vega).

I had a lot of fun at the tournament, even though there is like nothing to do in Fresno.  We drove around for 20 mins trying to find a bar and just ended up going to Denny’s, fuck it.  Miky and Mike Chow from fresno are some heavy hitters.  Look out for them at a major coming to a town near you.  In my best JS Masters voice “Fresno, Why you so Quiet??”.

So I decided to start blogging again.  Its been a while, haven’t posted anything since May 2010 #fail .  A lot has happened since that last post but I wont be posting that now.  I plan on updating the site regularly now instead of spending so much time on my facebook or twitter.

With MvC3 and MK9 coming out soon, I am going to be posting a lot about my exploits in those titles.  Looking forward to MvC3 the most as of right now.  My team right now is (Arthur/Storm/Doom), I call it team Doritos cause of all the Chips (chip damage).  Look for more on that soon.

Been a while since I played Blanka.  I am pretty rusty but I managed to get some wins on XBL last night.  The new matchups are still confusing for me.  I feel like Blanka beats T hawk but loses to Ibuki possibly.  I think I am going to stick with Blanka for EVO.  Time will tell.
